Hello,

Is there any performance advantage to calling out the SourceDB in a query as
opposed to using the table attachments in a database?

Thanks!

Have you noticed any?
Run the two queries side by side, and let us know how you fare.

Well, if I had a 20 point network to test it out on I wouldn't be here
asking that question.  I know there doesn't seem to be any performance
difference on a stand alone machine, or even on my home network, but I'm
planning on remotely deploying a program to a site that has twenty
workstations (roughly) and may even be a 10baseT hub or switch, so any
performance help I can get would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Generally you'll probably see little difference. Linked tables are
much more commonly used, so probably  better supported.
Have you seen this page:

Some of its suggestions would likely make a much bigger difference.
