Gradientfill from lebans.com and subforms

There is a really cool utility at www.lebans.com that allows you to
apply a gradient to the background colour on a form à la .NET style.
Does anyone know how to apply it so that a subform picks up the colour
gradient from the main form at the point the subform is located. At
present, I can only get a subform to do so if I have the subform right
across the form with the gradient set to horizontal (or presumably the
subform reaching from top to bottom with the gradient set to
vertical).

Presumably, I could work out the location of the subform with regard
to the main form and rejig the gradient on the subform manually, but
that is beyond my brainpower.

Cheers,

If I understand your request Alan I do not see how it could be done. If I
remember correctly the Subform control is actually rendered before the Main
form.

Hi Stephen,
Yes, I think you are right. The recordsource on a subform gets
calculated first, I think, so presumably the rest does. It would mean
having to manually "cut out" that part of the bitmap used for the main
form once that has been done and then reassign that as the bitmap for
the subform with some code???? Or something like that.

Stephen,
I've managed to get it to work OK with horizontal and vertical fill,
which is sufficient for me. The vertical version needs a bit of
fiddling with as I think the application title bar upsets my
calculations a bit (when not using a form with borderstyle set to
None), so I've bunged in a fudge factor.  If you are interested, I can
send you a copy.
