I'm working on modifications to a split database system that runs on a network. I need to add code to capture the user's network loginID. I found the code I need at mvps.org/access. All I have is a standalone computer running WindowsXP Pro. Is there a way to simulate a network on my machine to where I can test the code to capture a user's network loginID? Also create additional IDs and log onto those to see what happens. FWIW the code at mvps.org/access works quite nicely.
