Problems with drop down boxes.

Drop down boxes populated by an underlying query work for all users on many
differnt pc's with the exception on one specific pc. Set up and workgroups
appear to be identical, but the drop down boxes are empty when using a
specific machine.

This problem does come up sometimes when using internet software such as
Citrix to access a database on a remote server.

Any ideas to correct this problem?

Thanks to Tony Toews, who alerted us to this Microsoft bug (and patch):

"Combo box controls and list box controls display no value or
incorrect values in Access 2003 after you install Office 2003 Service
Pack 3."  And a few more problems SP3 introduced.

Description of the Access 2003 post-Service Pack 3 hotfix package:

Is this an indication that it is still not save to download SP3 for Office
2003?

I'm not certain that the hotfix cures *all* problems with SP3 but with a
distributed application, and the aggressiveness of Windows Update, and the
irreversability of SP3... I'd probably roll with it. Install SP3 and the
hotfix and hope for the best.

Thanks for the quick response. Looks very helpful as the machine in question
and the host server (answers the Citrix problem) have Office 2003 SP3. Will
install the hotfix later today.

I have installed this fix and some of my combo boxes still do not work. I
have heard that others are experiencing that this "fix" is kind of
hit-and-miss. Is there a fix for this fix yet?
