Is there anyway to put a header or footer on a subreport?

As far as I'm aware, no.

Hi

You need to think outside the box.
The basic answer is no "BUT" a liitle imagination goes a long way.

At the top of the detail area of your sub-report create a your own header
followed by the detail.

Alternately open the grouping dialoge box and select the detail name then on
group header and footer choose "Yes"
You can the use the group header and footer as needed.

have fun
