Hi there,
I've created customized styles for a document and have a problem with the
restarting of numbering.

Currently my document looks like this

1. Heading_1
  1.2. Heading_2
  1.2. Heading_2
2. Heading_1
  2.1. Heading_2
        A. Heading_3
        B.  Heading_3
3. Heading_1
  3.1 Heading_2
        C. Heading_3

How can I define the style as such that instead of C. it restarts
"numbering" from A?
Now everytime when I insert the style I have to manually reset the numbering
by going into the bullet and numbering window and hit the restart numbering
button. There must be a way to already predefine it in the style, similarly
when using numbers? I'm using the outline numbered box.
Thanks for the help!!!!

Sounds as though you're talking about a Word document. This newsgroup is for
questions about Access, the database product that's part of Office
Professional.

You'd be be off reposting your question to a newsgroup related to Word.
