I have a new Vista laptop and installed the Office 2003 Pro on the system.  I
am trying to create a database in Access and when I try to create a report
for the information I get a failure message.  If I don't use the wizard it
won't do anything.

Do you have a printer installed yet on this new laptop?

Access uses the metrics of the printer driver to figure out how to lay out
the report. If there is no printer driver (or if the printer driver is
faulty), it cannot even figure out design view for the report.
