Whenever I try to download or even use an existing template in Access, I get
an error.  A pop up box states: (Note I put in whatever as it happens on any
template that I try.

Template 'whatevername.accdt' could not be instantiated.
The Table 'whatever table' could not be read from the template file.  The
object may be in an unrecognized format or contain invalid data.

I have turned Off the firewall as suggested with no affect.  Any help
please????

For which version are you trying the templates? 2003? 2007?

work....

Hi,

Sorry to hear you have these problems. I went ahead and tried downloading
several templates. You guessed it... I had no problems downloading them.

Have you tried running Mirosoft Office Diagnostics? I don't know if it will
fix the problem but it won't hurt trying it.

Furthermore look if you have the possibility to run setup again and add the
additional wizards for templates for access.
