Creating a compressed folder

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if there is a way of creating a compressed(zipped) folder
from within my VBA code?

I have a document management database which creates/moves/deletes etc files
and folders using the FileSystemObject. A folder may contain several
subfolders, each with files in them.

I would like to be able within Access to create a compressed folder so that
this can be attached to an email which Access creates. This would allow the
email recipient to uncompress the folder back to its original file
structure, as well as having several files contained conveniently in one
attachment.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Jim.

I don't have proper documentation yet, but you can try my zip utility for
ms-access here:
