How do I take specific information in Access and plug it into a specific cell
in Excel?

Have you tried copy/paste?

I have a data base of names and dates and other information and an Excel
spreadsheet that is,  simply put , a large map of a cemetery.   I want to
take a name, birth date and death date and insert it into a specific cell in
the excel map

http://www.mvps.org/access/modules/mdl0006.htm demonstrates some
code to open a spreadsheet and paste data to a specific cell.
