I have a link file excel but I can't add or modify records.

How can I ?

I have Access 2002.

Unfortunately, you can't. Microsoft lost a lawsuit a couple of years ago,
and were forced to remove that capability from both Access 2002 and 2003
(and not introduce it in the first place in Access 2007)

Doug,

Do you have a reference to the case? I can't comprehend why they would not
be able to link to another of their own products....

Thanks,

Thanks Doug - I had the link to the KB, but not to the register's article.
