This should be an easy one but I searched the board and was unable to find
anything that directly addressed my question. What is the best way to export
a recordset to excel? I simply want to export everything in the recordset
including the headers to excel. I need to do this in VBA.

Thanks,

See whether my July, 2005 "Access Answers" column in Pinnacle Publication's
"Smart Access" helps.

You can download the column (and sample database) for free at

The TransferSpreadsheet Method/Action will do this.  You just supply the
table/query name and the name of the file you want to create along with some
other optional arguments.
