I don't know if this should go in VBA or forms area, so i'm going in general
of hopes of a response.

I have a program that creates new tables/table entries in a database.  In
the database there's a form open that would show information from a main
table.  Is there a way to "redraw" the form to show the updated information
when a new table entry is entered?

understand what i'm getting at?

The Docmd.requery action should do that for you.

I'll try that.  I was thinking the requery command would work, but i was told
it was tried before and didn't work.

we'll try that and see how it goes
