i have a set range of two columns, but now i need to narrow it twice instead
of once. I used countif for this equation the first time when i only had one
criteria but now i need to use two pieces of criteria to narrow the range.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks

CountIf is an Excel function.
Or is your question about Excel or Access a relational database application
that is part of Microsoft Office Professional?
If it is about Access then post some more information - table and field
names with datatype.   Post sample data.  Post what you expect as results
from this data sample.
