I have installed a driver which links to a MySQL database (tests successfully)
However, when I try to link to the tables in Access 2003 nothing happens
(the connection wizard fails to run)
I press Get Externa Data, Link Tables and when I choose ODBC Databases
....nothing happens.
I can link to other access databases etc.

I have since installed Access2007 and can sucessfully link to the tables
through there.
Can anyone tell me what has happened to my ODBC database connection wizard?

Thanks!

If you have Norton antivirus installed, disable the office plug-in and link
to the mysql table.  Make sure you enable the office plug-in again.

Thanks Chris,

I disabled the Scan Office documents, which was the only setting I could
find. It didn't work however, is that the setting you were referring to?
