how do you compress a document from 10.6 mb to 2 mb for uploading.

First, Compact and Repair with Access, the compress.  If you do not have
compression software on your machine, go to www.sourceforge.net and on the
first (home) page, find the link to download 7-ZIP... works nicely for me
and it's free; if you like and use it, see if they accept donations.
