Unable to see data in lookup field

I have 7 computers that are mapped to a Access Database on a Stand Alone PC.
The database has been working great. Recently the database on the stand alone
computer was copied to a Thumb Drive. The user that copied the database to a
thumb drive can take thumbdrive to 3 of the 7 computers and is able to see
and select the data in the lookup field. But when the thumb drive is taken to
the other 4 computers the lookup data is not shown but can be selected. Also
when accessing the database directly from the stand alone computer the lookup
data is not showing but can be selected. Renamed the database file on the
thumb drive and copied to the stand alone pc and still can not view the
lookup data. Any ideas why this is happening and how to fix it?

Thank You

I'm not sure, but I wonder if the computers that can't see the lookup list
are running Access 2003 SP3 without the post-SP3 hotfix.  There is a bug in
SP3 that would cause combo box lists to be blank under certain
circumstances.  Here's a description of the bug:

And here's a description of the hotfix, with a link to download it:
