I'm actually not familiar with the Reservations template, but you should be
able to make that work.  Rather than simply identifying rooms, you will need
to identify workspaces as rooms.  Then you can reserve each workspace.

Otherwise, you will need an application that handles rooms, and workspaces.  
You might also want to consider something that also provides a description of
what type of work, or what equipment is available, and allow for reserving
workspaces by workspace type.
