I have created a report that uses the counting procedure, now I need to total
that procedure.
I also need to know how to save the program to a CD so that it can be
transferred to another computer. When I do the transfer it comes up as Read
Only.

Are you expecting us to understand how to sum your counting procedure when
we don't know what your counting procedure is?
When you copy a file onto your other computer, find it in Windows Explorer
and right click to view its properties. Un-check the read-only property.

I can't help with the first question other than directing you to make a
custom query first that groups the procedure then counts it and then creating
a report from that query.
With the CD you should copy the file(s) onto the computer so that the files
can be updated.
