Access 2003  Win 2k

I have a table that I need to add and delete records to.  However there is
an error message that tells me that the table is read only.  Also the new
record feild doesn not appear.

Thanks For the help

sounds like no primary key is setup on the table.

The problem occurs when I select a field in the datasheet view and I ask to
sort ascending or descending. I went to the table properties in design view
and I removed the text inside "order by" and now I can modify the table
again.

However I don't understand why this happens. Does someone know the reason?

Thanks,
Humberto
