I have an access database.  It uses linked tables accross a network.  haven't
been any issues, until now.  everything is working ok, but on a form i have
there are a couple of check boxes that dont work now, you cant check in them.
and, i cant add any records, i keep getting an error, says check if its read
only or about file format.  i definately checked securities and if it was
read only, and both of those are good, its not read only.  the database is in
2000 format, and i am using 2002.  Here is what is funny, i can go into the
table, either on the server, or from the program on my computer through the
linked table, and i can check the check boxes right in the table with no
problem, and add records.  but if i go to the database on my computer,  and
go to the query and try to use the check box, it doesn't work there, and it
obviously doesn't work through the form??? please help.  thanks.

If you can make changes in the table the problem relies in the form.
Check 'allow edits', allow additions' properties in the data tab of the form
properties.
