how can i change the default in the find feature from 'WHOLE FIEL.

I have created a registration program in Access and when I want to find
something I alway have to change in the drop down box from "whole field" to
"any part of field. can anyone tell me if the default can be changed

Tools | Options | Edit/Find tab.

Select "General Search" instead of "Fast Search"
