Hello!

I sent a database to a customer that was divided into a
front and back end (so I could easily update, of
course).  Now, however, the customer wants to make a
change that affects the backend....we simply need to
remove an index on a field and revise the relationships
accordingly.  The problem is that he has sent this
database out to 9 offices that have already populated the
tables.
What is the best way to make this change?  I'm assuming
the users are not Access literate....
Thanks!  Of course there is a tremendous deadline on
this...

Did each of the 9 offices get a copy of the front & back? Or, are they all
linking to a single, centrally located backend?
If there is only one backend in operation, then, that backend will need to
be exclusively opened and revised. If it is the latter, then your options are
to visit each site to revise them, or have the customers re-enter the data.
-That should be fun.

Either way you go. If you wish to preserve existing data, you will need to
modify backend(s) manually.
