Hello,

I have been working on a database(new to access) so in the
process i have been deleteing and creating tables. When i
go into RELATIONSHIPS and show all....a maze of tables
with connecting lines appear even though i thought they
were deleted.Does this affect my current working tables?
Please advise

Yes, it does.

To delete a relationship in the relationships window you need to
select the JOIN LINE - not the table icon, but the line connecting
them. Only after deleting the relationship can you delete the table
icon.

You may want to use Tools... Database Utilities... Compact and Repair
Database to recover waste space (and garbage) that Access hasn't
cleaned up.
