I am not able to open the lookup wizard in table design
view. I am using access 2000. I newly upgraded my os from
windows 2000 pro. to Windows XP when this problem started.
This message comes - "Microsoft Access can't start the
wizard, builder , or add - in". I have re-installed my
office 2000 over and over. Even when I now installed
Office XP ( after removing office 2000); the problem
remains the same. Finally, it will tell me "Access
couldn't lunch the lookup wizard".

Can someone help please.

Count yourself lucky.

Just create the second table, fill it with some data, add the relationship
in the Relationships window and have done with it. It'll take you much less
time than posting a question here about how to undo the mess that the
Wizard has made of your database...

Best wishes
