I HAVE CONVERTED A TABLE FROM ACCESS 97 TO ACCESS 2000 SR-
1 PROFESSIONAL AND AM HAVING A PROBLEM WITH THE DATE
COLUMN.  I USE A MM/DD/YY FORMAT AND THE NEW PROGRAM HAS
CHANGED IT TO A MM/DD/YYYY.  I HAVE CHANGED THE INPUT MASK
AND DON'T HAVE A SHORT DATE FORMAT WITH A 2 PLACE YEAR
FORMAT.  HELP!!  WHAT CAN I DO TO GET A MM/DD/YY FORMAT
BACK??

Please DON'T SHOUT. It's hard to read and considered impolite. Just
use all lower case if you're having trouble with the shift key!

A couple of things to check: open the Windows Control Panel, find the
Regional Settings option, and check the date/time setting. Access will
inherit whatever you've specified there.

Or, you can set the Format property of the field to

mm/dd/yy

instead of "Short Date".
