I added a new field to an underlying table, but when I go to the form and click on field list is does no show up. Help says that I should click on refresh on the the field list toolbar.  Where is refresh and where is the field list toolbar?  Niether appear when I have the field list open.

Open the Form in design view, and view its Properties. The first
property on the Data tab is the Record Source.

Click the ... icon by the Record Source property; a query design
window will open (perhaps after a prompt). Add the field, close the
window, and accept Access' offer to update the SQL. Your new field
should now be available.
