Could you explain what you mean by "list of date field idea"????

What are you trying to accomplish? What specific problem are you having?

Just in a quick summary, one of the datatypes you can specify in the design of
a Table is a Date/Time field. This is actually stored as a floating point
number, a count of days and fractions of a day (times) since midnight,
December 30, 1899. This field type can be used to store any point in time,
accurate to one second, from January 1, 100AD through December 31, 9999AD. The
field can be displayed in a huge number of different formats, including a
basically endless set of custom formats.
