I am starting a new project to be able to track some of Inventory that
is being shipped with the product.  All the items have bar coding.  I
need to create a database that I can scan barcode and then to have a
check list before shipping make sure the correct items are leaving
with the product against the first scanning.
I have access 2003 and I am not sure if anyone used access for bar
coding.  I need all the help I can get.

Thank you

Majic

I am sure that you will get help on this.

There is a groups search facility on Google. Its advanced option should get
you lots of information that has already been posted to the newsgroups on
this and other subjects.

Most newer barcode scanners connect to the PC via the keyboard connection
and to the PC the characters from the scan appear exactly as if they had
been typed from the keyboard.  No special programming is required in most
cases.
