Hi,

I have a database with 1000's of records. I have a search set up to retrieve
info from this. How can I set up a message box to appear if no records match
the specified criteria??

Any help would be appreciated.

What do you mean, you "set up a search"? Are you using a form? Or
working in the table directly?

Here are some tips to help you ask your questions effectively:

Is there a form or code or macro or anything else involved in this? We need
to know your method.

Is the data display form the same as the form where the users enter the
number and click a button?
Is there code behind the button you could share?
