I have a full Office Pro version 2.0 from 1994 and an upgrade version of
Access 2002, both on CD.  WHen the 2002 version asks for verification of
earlier version, it can't find it even though Access from Office Pro version
2 is installed on the hard drive.
Is ther any other way to upgrade from the old access to the newer version?

According to this KB article (if I read it right):

   http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290540/

Access 2.0 would not qualify for the upgrade.  It says only Access 97
and 2000 do.

Yes, that's certainly how I read that article.
