sThis is something that is on my screen saying that windows is installing
PanoStandAlone. I can not install any other programs because of this. I had
did a search and removed the file with this name but it still will not come
off the screen. I haven't downloaded anything that I know of to make this
happen. What can I do?

I don't believe this has anything to do with Access, the database product
that's part of Office Professional, and the focus of this particular
newsgroup.

Try doing a search, using your favourite search engine, on PanoStandAlone.

See, for example, http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/Panostandalone-t99207.html

The only way I can remove it from the screen is to do Ctrl+Alt+Delete and
remove it from the Task Bar

You are getting a program that is for DVD recording.
1) Pano. = I believe it means Panovision. A DVD program.
2) Standalone is a DVD Recorder which records from a TV but
it has to be set by the owner. The opposite of this =
PVR. This is a DVD Recorder that attaches to your TV but
will record all your favourite TV programs without your
   help.

Hope this helps you to sort out how you may have it on your
PC to start with?   If not use my email to contact me...
who knows - maybe I can find an answer?
   I remain
      Sincerely
        neilonisle
