DC problems

Hi,

        I am facing a problem when removing Domain controller in windows
2000 advanced Server .I already demote the server but some problems
occurs.when I rebooted the machines It works as DC.I also run NTDSUTIL,It
fail.Then I run DCPROMO It could not success.It showing error " the domain "
domain name" is not an Active Directory Domain,Or an Active Directory Domain
controller for the domain could not contacted " . It also error "the
operation failed because failed finding DC for the domain ".I do not
formating Hdd and reinstallation Of O.S.Please give suggestion.

You'd be better off asking this in a newsgroup related to Active Directory,
or to servers.

This newsgroup is for questions about setting up and configuring Access, the
database product that's part of Office Professional.
