Can I set how the sequence of AutoNumbering to change with
the year example: 04-001, 04-002, 04-003 etc.?

Also is there a way to have the database alert me to when
there are monthly duties due like in Outlook with the
calendar?

You can't. Autonumbers don't work that way. They exist for one purpose only:
to provide a (practically guaranteed) unique value that can be used as a
primary key. You can't change how they behave.
