Hi,

It could be a sign of corruption probably in your database especially if it
happens with only this file.  Use JETCOMP.exe to see if you can compact it
(repair corruption), see: ACC2000: Jet Compact Utility Available in
Download Center

Also to make sure it's not your machine down and install the latest service
pack the Microsoft JET Database Engine

MSACCESS.EXE

Does anyone know what this means?

I can open and use the database and nothing seems amiss with it. But not
being able to compact and repair it concerns me.
