Can a database (MDB or MDE) be restricted to a certain PC by using a serial
number or other identification in the PC and place that in a hidden table or
other control?

Thanks

You can grab the computer's name using this:

http://www.databasedev.co.uk/get_username_or_computername.html

but there's nothing to stop a user from unhiding a table unless you hide the
db window and take step to stop them unhiding *that*.
