A prior posts directs users to Access Security FAQs ; however, the link I
followed took me to FAQs for Acces versions 2.0 through 2000.  I am using
Access 2003.  Does the FAQs and ten steps still apply?

Also, I need to add security to a database then package for distribution
using Access 2003 Developer Extensions.  Will the users/permissions I set in
the database still be valid when I package?

Thanks for the help.

The Security FAQ's apply to all versions of Access where User-Level Security
is available.  (It's not available for ACCDB database format files in Access
2007, but User-Level Security can be applied to the Access 2007 MDB database
format files.)

Yes.  Ensure that the secure workgroup information file (*.MDW) is included
in the package.
