Access 2007. Auto gen'd report. when I try and rearrange the controls on the
form they all get selected and will only move as a group. When I use the
ungroup command nothing happens. I'm lost I just want to split them up and
know how it's done.
You said form and report in the same sentence. Which object are you working with?
By default, the report wizard (and form wizard) will put the controls in a control layout. To remove
the control layout, switch to Design view. Next, highlight all the controls in that control group
(click and hold down Shift key is one way). Finally, click the Remove button in the Control Layout
group on the Arrange tab.
Now you can move, align, and resize the controls independently.
