I was shopping on the internet from a genuine website in the UK and noticed
when entering the credit card payment bit that the beginning of their
website changed to https://id403.van.ca.siteprotect.com/ in front of their
usual url.  I phoned them up and they said this was OK and was part of my
firewall security settings to protect against phising and it was a temporary
issue that would be resolved when they re-launched their website.  I run AVG
Internet Security and probably have Microsoft Defender running in
background.  Can anyone explain what is happening and should I be concerned
about it

Thanks

Graham

This newsgroup is for questions about security in Access, the database
product that's part of Office Professional.

You'll need to find a more appropriate newsgroup in which to ask this
question.
