Hello,

I need to secure my DB. I did the following:
-Created a workgroup file and joined it.
-Created a new DB while joined to the new workgroup.
-In security removed Admin from Admins group and added myself.
-Removed all permissions from the Users group.
-Added my users and groups.
-Imported all of my objects
Able to connect successfully to the DB via the new workgroup and all of the
permissions work properly for the users, however, the problem is when I join
the system.mdw workgroup file I can open up the DB. What did I miss?

Please help.

Thank you,
Vwilson

The order of the steps is very important. Given the list below, I would say
that the Admin user still owns everything.

Follow the steps outlined at www.jmwild.com/AccessSecurity.htm

Don't skip a step, and don't do them out of order.

Joan,

Thank you so much for the instructions. They worked and the DB's are now
secure.
