INSTALL NEW NORTONS SYSTEM WORKS

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.I purchased
the new cd Nortons system works 2004 and was in hospital
so i missed the 15 day instal so i cannot do it with the
product key.I uninstalled the 2002 version as asked then
it tells me that ssl connections need to be changed and i
can do that with instalation.
i insert the cd and it runs but nothing shows up on the
screen.when its done there are 2 parts that appear
installed but it says the registry key is wrong.i have
called them twice whiich cost alot but their advise did
nothing.just follow the instructions,they say.i have
windows xp home addition 2.4 ghz and meet the
requirements.can anyone help me with this.
