I'm trying to access a db from a different computer. When
i do so I'm prompted for a username and password. I'm not
prompted if I use any other machine. The problem is that
I have to use the machine with which I'm having issues
opening the db. The correct password does not work.

The username and password is coming from the database
itself - All the critical updates & patches were
downloaded - it still doesn't work.  This pc and all the
other pc's are joined to the domain and are the same make
and model. Anyone has any ideas?

You need to read-up on "workgroup information files" (MDW files) & how they
are used with Access databases. A secured Access database can only be used
in conunction with the proper MDW file. No other MDW file (such as, the one
on some other computer) will do.
