I have an Access database. When I try to run a macro in it, it givess me an
error message "You Do not have permission to run XXXX".

There is no security implemented on database.

Please Help.

Thanks in Advance.

What version of Access? Access 2007, have you added the folder where the MDB
or ACCDB exists to the Trusted Locations? Click on the Office Button, then
follow the path through  Access Options | Trust Center | Trust Center
Settings

Have you given users permission to run the macro?  Is the message saying you can't run 'the macro' or is it some other object (I'm thinking you have an action to run a query and it's the query they don't have permission on.

I have not given any security permission to macro, however, when I goto user
and group permission.

Open/Run is unchecked for object type: Macro. It is a stand alone database
sitting on my system. If someone has given the permissions accidently then I
am not aware of it.

It sounds like someone played with security at some point (even if they cancelled part way through), and this macro was created with another workgroup file.

Is it possible for you to recreate the macro?
