Error Message When Using a Sub Report

Hello,

I have a report (rptRequestPLK) and I am placing a subreport in it
(subRPattern) When I open the report I get the following error message:

"This expression is typed incorrectly, or it is too complex to be evaluated.
For, example, a numeric expression may contain too many complicated elements.
Try simplifying the expression by assigning parts of the expression to
variables."

The report master/child link is: [REQUEST_NO]

What is strange is that this was working fine the other day. The error
message does not specify where it is comming from, but I assume it is
subRPattern because 1, when the rptRequestPLK loads, subRPattern does not
show any records; and 2, when I take subRPattern out of the main report I do
not get this error message anymore.

if anyone knows anything about this error message, please let me know! Thank
You!
