Odd Report Behavior

I have a database with multiple reports. All the reports run without a
problem except for one. This one report is behaving oddly. It will not open
when one attempts to run it. Also, if one attempts to open it in design view
to try to troubleshoot what is wrong, the report will not open either. Any
ideas as to what might be going on or how to fix it?

Sounds like this one report has gone bad.

If you cannot even open it in design view, you could try the undocumented
SaveAsText/LoadFromText:

Otherwise the best shot might be to delete this report, compact, and then
import it from a backup.

Allen,

Seems like you’ve answered my last few posts to the Access newsgroup. Thank
you for, once again, coming up with an excellent solution. This time,
however, it seems like the report can not be recovered. I will have to
re-create the report but will save the undocumented solution for the next
time. Thanks!

Jorge
