Ok, so you need to provide a lot more about your mdb and your needs. Can you
share some table names and structures with the data types of significant
fields?
Do you simply want to be able to filter a report to a specific Product and
Purchase method? Have you already created a report for this?

I have a table with Products that has cost of product and the way it can be
purchased, a customers table with customers info, a Purchase method table in
the way the product can be purchased, I also created a table for a form
instead of a switchboard that has command buttons to select forms, and
reports. On my reporting form you would select which report to view by
selecting the product name along with the date in which you would like to
see. What I'm trying to add on this form is a combo box where you can select
the purchase method on the way the product was sold. In other words if I want
to just see the web charge products on my report. Hope this works.
Thanks

How does "select the purchase method" differ from "selecting the product name
along with the date"? Can't you apply the same method used for the product to
the purchase method?

When you select the Product I want to be able to select the way the product
was sold, which is Direct Pay, Web Charge, or E Plan which is under the
reports to select. I guess I can apply the same method used for the product
the only thing is I'm not sure how to.
Thanks

If you would provide the information on how your report is currently filtered
by Product and date range, then someone might be able to help you apply the
same method to your purchase method. It's a bit difficult when we can't see
your database. You need to tell us.

Where do I check for the filter?

Go to Allen Browne's web site http://www.allenbrowne.com/tips.html and read
the first couple tips for casual users under reports.
