I run Access 2003.  I have a report that lists a pet owner and their
address in the name header, then lists multiple pets in the detail
section.  I am trying to list the pet owner's phone numbers in the name
header, but when I do this, it lists each pet the number of times that
there are phone numbers (ie, if the owner has three different phone
numbers, each pet is listed three times).  I have tried
grouping/sorting the phone number in various ways, but have not
succeeded.  I appreciate any ideas or solutions you have for this.
Thank you.

What is your data structure?  Since this appear to be a one-to-many
relationship on phone numbers and pest, you should have (at least) three
tables.  Most folks would not bother with the phone numbers, they'd simply
have a home, work, cell, etc. all in separate fields, but the pets should be
second table.

TblClients
ClientNumber
ClientLastName
ClientFirstName
ClientAddress1
ClientCity
ClientState
ClientZIP
ClientHomePhone
ClientWorkPhone
etc.

TblPets
OwnerClientNumber
PetName
PetType
PetColor
etc.

You could then build a query linking the two tables and base your report on
it.

If you have this type of structure, then let us know where items are (detail
header, etc.) and perhaps we can help you.

Tables are: ownerID# and name in one table, addresses in another table,
phone numbers in another table, pets in another table. Owner to
addresses is one-to-many, owner to phone numbers is one-to-many, owner
to pets is one-to-many.
