I have a creation date column and when i go to the report it shows all the
dates.  i want it to only show the starting week date, and then the next week
after that and so on.  i think i have to make a query to do this, but what do
i enter in the field?

Your where clause in the query would be (for Week Ending dates I used
Friday, but of course you could select whatever weekday you wanted):
WHERE (((Format([YourDateField],"dddd"))="Friday"));
