Reports on dot matrix printers

Win Xp - Acces 2003 + Sp2.
I print an access report in a Epson dot matrix printer. By default its
prints in graphics mode (very, very slow), there is some way to print it y
text mode (like in DOS)?
I tried the with true type and printer fonts but d'ont work

Add a printer in Windows and make the driver Generic.
Use the same printer port as the Epson printer.

When you want to print in Access use the Generic printer and
the Epson will print much faster.
