previewing reports on a laptop

We have a multi user database. We are using Access 2003 and XP.

The users that are using laptops with Access loaded are having problems when
previewing reports.

The reports are set as landscape in the page setup.  The first time the
report is run, it appears as portrait.  If you then go into that same report
a second time (without making any changes to the page setup), it appears as
landscape.

Any ideas on what may be the problem?

Thanks!!

Your reports are based on an (assumedly-connected) printer definition.
Depending on how your reports were designed, that could be a specific
printer, or could be the PC's "default" printer.

If you're talking laptops, what printer do they use?

(I ran into a similar problem and resolved it by installing a "PDF-printer"
on my laptop.  Now my laptop has an actual printer defined, and the reports
are generated as PDF files.)
